Antonio Dueshawn Miller Jr. is a 26-year-old poet, author, and community leader. Born in Dayton, Ohio, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, He is the founder of Healing A Heart Nonprofit Organization, dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. which was established in 2021. As a twin of a girl and the sibling of five, including three sisters and three brothers, Antonio's upbringing was shaped by the experiences of those around him. Growing up, he witnessed firsthand the profound impact of abuse on his mother and other women and children in his community.
In 2014, motivated by these experiences, Antonio began to express himself through poetry. This creative outlet allowed him to explore and empathize with the perspectives of women who have endured various forms of abuse. His poetry became a powerful means of understanding their struggles and triumphs, further igniting his passion for advocacy.
After graduating from high school, Antonio made a conscious decision to forgo traditional college education in favor of pursuing his mission to support survivors of abuse. He dedicated himself to creating a positive impact in the lives of those affected by trauma, using his voice and experiences to promote healing and empowerment.
Through Healing A Heart, Antonio continues to champion the rights of survivors and raise awareness about the issues surrounding abuse, striving to foster a safer and more compassionate world for all.
